Both applications are a strand by stand method so reflect your own hair thickness. I use prebonded hair so there is far less shedding that weft hair, and the hair I use is 100% Remy Hair 20 inches in length.

The extensions I for are straight but have a natural wave when left to dry naturally. The extensions that have a pre-wave are set that way & the wave washes out. It is best to have the straight fitted and style as required.

The only extensions that will last that long are Microrings but they will need repositioning closer to the scalp approx every six weeks (these are popular the world over so you should be able to find someone to do it for you), as long as you keep having them moved cloer to the scalp every 6 weeks or so then the extensions will last for as long as you care for the hair (using specialised products made specifically for hair extensions)

If you suppy your own hair application will cost for Micro-rimgs £200 & for Fusion bonding £250. I have an Special Offer between 18th Feb - 3rd March where a full head of either Micro-rings or Fusion bonding will be £200 (this includes the hair)
I can apply colour for you also - if you you supply the colour & want a full head application the cost is £40, a full head of foils is £65.

For the best concealed extensions I would recommend a strand by strand application such as Micro-rings or Fusion Bonding. The Fusion bonds are the least visiable but Micro-rings are better for your hair.

The healthiest method of extensions is the strand by stand micro rings as there is no fusion (glue) and each extension strand is attached to an equal amount of your own hair. I would not recommend the weft as the braiding technique is often far to tight and when wefts are seen to the braids the weight is just too much and then breakage occurs often causing circumstantial alopecia (balding). I can fit wefts using micro rings but these are not the best \'looking\' extensions as you cannot acheive such a natural look when the hair is applied in strips, also it does not move as naturally as the strand by strand applications.

I am professionally trained, have been working in the industry for over 6 years & have a loyal client base. I am also fully insured as you will have seen in my profile details.
The sew in weft are not the safest hair extensions as the tight braiding & the weight of the weft haor often causes bald patches better known in the industry as \'Circumstantial Alopecia\'. Sometimes the hair will grow back over the bald patches, sometimes it does not - risky business! With the sew in weft cleaning can be a problem as the inside of the braid can take a long time to dry so bacteria & dampness sets in - not good for your hair or scalp.
The Micro-rings are a better Extension application as they are a strand for strand application eg. 30 strands of hair extension hair will be applied to 30 strands of you own hair meaning there is no unneccassary stress on your natural hair. Also with Micro rings no \'fusion\' happens, so there is no heat & no glue used. Also with the strand by strand application a far better colour match can be acheived as it is \'strand for strand\'. When washing the strand for strand extensions there is not problem with prolonged drying periods as they dry almost as quickly as your natural hair does, as air can circulate at the scalp freely.
I am a fully qualified Hair Dresser & Hair Extension Technician so can cut the extensions in to look very natural (this service I offer free with every application)
If you decide to opt for Clip-in Hair Extensons, again I can provide 2 different types & can offer a cutting service to make them look natural & also also I offer a Professional Fitting Tutorial service for those who want to be able to fit their own properly so that they last from dawn to dusk without slipping.

There is no differnce between bonds & fusion Bonds - they are the same, I do Micro fucion Bonding which means the bonds are small.
The hair extensions last 3 months & the last extensions last 2-8 weeks dependant on the type of lash extensions you have.

I carry lots of stock so a colour match shouldn't be a problem however if you tint your hair then you may want to put the same tint through the extensions. - am busy tomorrow but could do sometime in the week or next weekend, whatever suits you best. Depending on the application type, maintainance costs vary.
Micro rings need repositioning every 4-5 weeks (cost £100) also removal cost is £100.
Fusion Bonding does not require maintenance just removal in 3-4 months after application (removal cost £100)
If you want a refit once the extensions are removed the same fitting prices apply as paid on the original fitting.

I finished chemo in april and am regrowing my hair. It is about 2 inchs at the moment it is taking ages to grow so i thought about extentions while my hair regrew. Any advice would be appreciated
Hi thank you for your enquiry. Each hair folicl will produce hair at different times and stages. This mens that your hair is not yet full in thickness. I would advise that you let your hair grow for at least another 6 mnths bd then assess you hair again then for suitability.

Hair extensions will not damage your hair if you maintain them properly (care card is supplied with every fitting) & do not them leave them in longer than 3 months.
My advice is that your hair is in good condition before fitting (not over processed) & that you maintain them to the letter!
Damage from hair extensions is most often down to not having them removed in good time & to lack of good maintenance.

I use Marvel Lashes for the very natural looking eyelash extensions, I also slightly thicker synthetic eyelash extensions if you want a more obvious look. I also offer an Express Eyelash extension service which is designed for those with less time to spare for application or for those who o want lashes for a specific event or special occasion.
In order to make the lashes last as long as possible it is advised that you avoid contact with oils & oil based products - always use an oil free makeup remover & moisturiser if possible.
The spray tan [prouct I use is a professional salon product called SUNLESS SOLUTIONS, this product has a natural spray on colour so you can still go out with out all the embarrasment of being a strange colour, it has a very pleasent citrus scent, it does not have any 'orange' tones, it does not go streaky and develops over 8-12 hours after the application.
In preparation for the spray tan I recommend that you do not shave or wax with in 48 hours before application, exfoliate approx 2 hours before application & once you have exfoliated use no creams, oils, purfumes, body sprays or deodrants as these may act as a barrier between your skin & the spray tan resulting in patchyness.

A full head of of either 18 or 20 inch hair with Fusion Bonding is £360 including the booking fee & Micro-rings are £310 including the booking fee.
I use 100% human remy hair so you can always tint it with your current colour if the match is not exact.
I always cut in the hair extensions to make them look natural (cutting of hair extensions is free), if your hair is very short it will mean that you will need to pay more attension to styling when you have extensions, also with short hair I would reccomend Fusion Bonding as these do not have a tendancy to slide down the hair strand in the way that Micro-rings do.

It really does depend on how short at the back your hair is. But I would not advise micro rings on shorter hair as they have a tendancy to slip and with short hair micro rings are easier seen.
For short haor I would advise the Protien Micro Fusion Bonding, these are far more descrete that the rings, are very stable and do not 'slip'

This will determine how natural the extensions will look in your hair and if you have enough for correct coverage, lots of people with short hair have extensions but it means having a layered choppy style around the front & & back of the head & would need styling to look 'good'.

How long have you hasd your current haor extensions & are 100% Human Hair?
I would advise that you have the extensions removed (once there life span is up) Dye your hair and see how you like (so have darker hair for 2 weeks or so) then decide if you want it extended when its dark.
I offer this advice in case you have it dyed dark & pay for the extensions only to realise you dont like it darker (you cannot lift the colour of hair extensions even if they are 100% human hair)

Which is the best method of appication is down to personal perference. Damage wise, if you maintain both correctly there should be little or no damage to your own hair.
Micro-rings have no warm bond contact with your hair but as a result thay are far less stable than bonds and slip down the hair strand regularly so require maintenance every 4-5 weeks. Bonding does have direct contact with the hair whilst hot but I use the gun method so I do not heat the bond to its maximum temprature directly on your hair strand (as with the Cold Fusion Method) so the bond must cool a little before it comes in contact with your own hair.
The key is to mainenance & to keep your hair extensions maintained fully at all times.

I do not currently use this type of bonding, I use the Protein Micro-Fusion Bonding.

hi Joanne I've got a few questions first my own hair is very fine and it's quite short would this be ok. How will you do the colour match do u bring all the hair with you. I've had extensions before and love them really hope you can help. Thanks Charlotte

Yes I do removal - cost is £100, plus £10 booking fee.....if you want to book a removal just book for hair extensions, pay the booking fee & then pay me the balance of £100 upon removal (plus send me a message stating you have booked for removal)

& in answer to part of your previous questuion, yes I am a fully qualified hairdresser so can also colour your hair for you no problem.
Cost of full head of colour is £50, Half Head Highlights is £60 & Full Head Highlights is £80 - all prices include online booking fee.

Hi, The price quoted is for a full head 18" Indian Remy (Cuticle Correct) AAA Grade Hair.
The difference:
Micro-rings are small metal rings that hold the hair extension in place, there is no heat require to apply these.
As no heat it used they are not a stable as the Fusion Bonding (the rings do slide down the hair strand & ans as they grow away from rhe scalp they need repositioning closer to the scalp [maintainance] every 3-4 weeks - cost £100)
Protien Micro Fusion Bonding (great for those with metal allergies) is very secure & requires little if any maintainance. This is a heat application but the protien bonding I use has to be cool enough to touch before it is applied to the hair (It is not heated up whilst on your hair strand)
All extensions last 3-4 months before they need to be removed. Both methods are safe for the hair as long as they are maintained correctly - maintainace advice card is supplied upon fitting.

I spoke to a number of different hair extensionists before speaking with Jo and I chose Jo because she filled me with the confidence I needed to let her do the extensions.
I have very short and thick hair due to a bad experience at a hair dressers (That I don't usually go to) which the extensions cover very nicely as Jo cut the extensions into a natural looking style. The wave in the extensions is amazing. My other half loved the length and said the colour match was excellent and he had been very dubious about them before he came home on Friday and saw them.
